Reviews and Ratings
The stay was a mixed experience. The room was spacious and clean, offering a view in a blink of an eye, but the furniture and decor felt outdated. Staff at the reception were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and the location very close to Malmö Central Station was convenient. The dining experience, while nice, leaned towards continental offerings. However, the hotel seemed very old, potentially affecting the overall ambiance.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room next to the staircase was a bit different from the photos and had a slightly plasticky feel, but overall, it was nice, and the reception staff were very professional and friendly. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Malmö Central Station and close to the University where I had a conference. The service was top-notch with impeccable staff and nice amenities like dry cleaning, housekeeping, and a welcome drink. The dining options were satisfactory, offering a varied selection for breakfast. However, dining was only available in Swedish. The hotel's facilities were decent, but nothing exceptional.
The hotel was overall a pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable for our needs, and the price was worth it. The reception staff was very nice and professional, making us feel welcome. However, they lacked knowledge about the ferry to Germany.
The hotel was well taken care of, with fresh flowers, welcome water, and complimentary coffee, but the rooms could use some updating as they appeared different and not as good as in the photos. The staff was notably nice and accommodating for providing breakfast before hours, making service an added advantage. The location was excellent, being walkable to the pedestrianized center of Malmö and very close to the main train station, making it a perfect base for exploring. The dining experience was described as rich and delicious, though there was room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were surprisingly spacious for Nordic countries' standards, although they appeared old and in not very good condition. Unfortunately, there were no facilities available, but the free coffee was a nice touch when I had work to do.
I must say, my stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while spacious and clean, were not exactly as depicted in the photos, which was a bit disappointing. However, the service, especially from Simon and Claudia, was top-notch! The location was superb, just a short walk from the central train station. The dining experience, though not exceptional, offered good quality food. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and a few drawbacks.
